Long Term Support.

We not only sell the product, install it, and train you how to use it, but we then continue to support it. For most people, the majority of their telephone calls go with no problems, and everyone is happy. Once in a "Blue Moon", there will be a problem where you will need to find a recording. We will be here to help you if you have forgotten how to use it or you would like some other form of help. The systems we sell are installed in many large corporations all over Europe, and have been running trouble free for several years.

Connection.

In order to physically connect to the phone being recorded, we have several special interfaces that enable us to connect to the actual incoming wires of your telephone line. Many recording products use a small box that connects to the "curly wire" running to the handset of the phone. Not only are these unsightly, and easy to "accidentally" disconnect or move the switches on, but they only work if you answer the call on the specific phone it is connected too. Coupled with this, the phone and computer need to be in very close proximity to each other. In most cases, they can not be used if you use a DECT or other style Cordless phone, or if you have several phones around the building, and want to be able to answer the call on any of them

Usability.

Because our system is always connected and ready to go, we automatically record all your calls. Lots of systems require you to manually start and stop the recording, and then need you to put in various notes with the call to enable it to be filed away for later retrieval

Searching.

Once you have recorded all your calls, and have an issue, how do you find the call? Most of the systems you will have seen, will save the calls as files on your Hard Disk, and will require you to use an "Explorer" type window to find the recording. The usual options are to sort by either "file name", "size", or "date and time", and if you added them at the time of recording, "Comments". Once you have found a likely looking file, you drag it to a "Media Player" and hope you have found the right one. Quite often, if there were gaps in the conversation, it may be recorded as several files. With our system, not only can you use date and time, but we record it as one file, which means you can accurately search on the length of the call. Our system also knows whether they called you, or you called them. If you called them, we know the telephone number you dialled. If they called you, and you have Caller ID (CLIP) enabled, we will also display the number given. Using the built in search and playback engine, you can use as many of these pieces of information as you "know" to search for the recording. Once you have found the recording, you can add notes to the call to make it even easier to find in the future. Our system will still be waiting to record while you are searching, so if you get another call, there is no need to worry.

Recording Authentication, and File Size

Our systems are designed to be left permanently connected and running 24/7. This means that you will not forget to turn it on, or connect it up to the phone in advance. Because of this, it is always there when you need it. It is very unusual to know in advance that you need to record a specific phone call, most of the time, you do not know that you will need to reference to it again until some time afterwards, with our system that is not a problem. We automatically record only when the phone is physically in use, so you have a file for each call. A lot of the systems you will see else where, use the Multi Media Device (Sound Card) you already have in your PC. Unfortunately so does nearly every other program installed on your PC, therefore if you use the PC you are recording on, for any other purpose, you could easily end up with other noises right in the important part of the call, or worse still, some applications automatically turn off the Microphone port of your "Multi Media Device" with out telling you. Because you are using an Industry Standard Media Device to record the calls, the Recording Files are "Standard", so can be easily edited and modified making it very hard to rely on the authenticity of the information should you need to escalate it. Our recorders use a Bespoke recording file, which in most cases results in not only smaller files, but the recording can be verified as authentic, should you need to pursue the call further. If required, you can save the recording as a standard "WAV" or "MP3" file to enable you to send/email a copy to other people.

Security

When all your recordings are saved in the standard "Multi Media" file types, just using the Windows Double Click feature will play them back. Our recordings require you to use the Call Recording Software, which is Passwords protected. No need to worry about who is using the computer when you are not there.

Backing up

Because the files are smaller it also mean they are easier to keep long term, with many profession needing to keep their recordings for at least 7 years or more, finding reliable long term storage can be expensive, so by keeping the size down, you will need less of it. Not only can the Backup be automated, but the search tool provided can search the backups in exactly the same way as the normal recordings, making it relatively simple to find that long forgotten call.

Expandable

We offer many different solutions, so we can work with you, to find the one that best suits your requirements. Many companies need to start out small, but would like the option to grow the recorder, as and when they need. Most of our systems are expandable, and can grow with your company. The flexibility of our designs means we have products that can record from a single phone line, up to, if necessary, recording 240 simultaneous calls in one industrial style computer. We have even installed one system that used an array of networked computers to record 600 telephone lines
